There is going to be a ton of conflicting fanboy chatter. X360 fans claiming ownage on biased reviews like Gameradar (who has already passed mediocre judgment) while PS3 fans will claim ownage when sites like IGN, Gamespot and 1up (site that loved the game at E3) review it very well.
Overall, it's going to be a gong-show. Regardless, I can't wait to pick this up in February. The true PS3 killer-app.
The best games on 360 are PS3 support titles for their exclusive lineup. Seriously, bad days of M$ await.
And people find a way to disagree with me when I say that the XBOX360 holiday lineup looks God-awful.
If 1up of all biased sites are giving LBP game of the show, 10/10 average confirmed!
Edit: Too bad Siren wasn't in there for downloadable. Game is freaking awesome! Playing it again for completionist purposes (weapons, story bits).
= EPIC FAIL
Much Better
I thought you were GiantEnemyCrab. I was gonna ask "how the hell are you posting in the Gamerzone?" lol.
As for your first comments, totally agree. Like most Ubisoft games these days, initial impressions certainly were mixed and the game did look a little unorganized and messy. They need to refocus on the fundamentals and deliver a good gameplay experience, not just a stylized one.
Only because I've played Splinter Cells in the past and know that MGS4 blows away the stealth action found in SC. SC goes for more style in its stealth while MGS is more focused on fundamentals and excellent story. Personally, I find MGS' more focused approach a better gameplay experience.
- Siren: Blood Curse
- Pixeljunk Eden
- Ratchet and Clank
- Fat Princess
By the way, I recommend Siren to anyone who loves survival horror! Awesome game!
Can we please stop reporting on this N4G? This isn't news it's just random venting from some spoiled kid.
this generation by far. I don't know how it will stand-up to RE5 (probably one of those bambi vs Godzilla situations) but I'm thinking this might have a chance against Silent Hill: Homecoming.
I can't stop playing this game, and I love the completionist all weapons/story pieces collection that adds life to this experience. Very fun game!
I don't want that piece of crap on my console. Besides, I've got Siren: Blood Curse. AWESOME GAME!
But White Knight Chronicles is to be released in Japan before March 31, 2009!! Good news!
Also, if Square does delay the NA release for the 360 version to play catchup, I don't care if they are making the FF7 remakes or not, SCREW EM'. 20 years loyal to them since FF on the NES and now a double standard where PS3 versions of The Last Remnant can be delayed but not the 360 version of FFXIII?
I'd be one angry freaking customer.
Ignore post 1.1. I've done it! Thanks to some PM help! WOOT!
Know how the hell to break the seals in Chapter 5? That puzzle is beyond confusing at this point. Doesn't seem to want to kick in at any combination.
Have they even responded to how badly they got whipped in the June NPD? I know Sony and Nintendo responded, any link as to how M$ twisted and turned that ownage?
Not only have the tables turned on sales and delays, now so have visual presentations. Could be that the PS3 has finally taken too much momentum to be stopped, something the Sony crowd thought would happen in the fall of last year.
Awesome to see SC4 scoring so well! Good for Namco/Bandai.
this game deserves great scores! Love it!
isn't it? Back to Siren: Blood Curse...
But I'm not buying into your site man. No FFVII info at the Square event is going to self-destruct your site. And even if this game is real, you overhyped the HELL outta it. If this in your mind beats Killzone 2, you've lost it. Incognito or not, potential is there, but this is not going to be the game that blows the minds of gamers everywhere and sells PS3s like hotcakes. Not based on the gameplay mechanics of the original, sorry.
I suggest everyone who has not done so yet to pick this game up. Very good and creepy gameplay experience!
